Grew up on a farm and learned sustainable living skills at an early age, subsequently honed those skills through engagement as a professional scientist at the University. Favorite travel destinations include climbing Mount Sinai and the respite at St. Catherine monastery; White water rafting in the Canadian Rockies near Banff Springs; Beaches along the southern coast of Portugal; Scuba diving among coral reef in the Gulf of Aqaba; Museum surfing in Austria and Washington D.C. and more recently venues in Hawaii and Austin, Texas.Travel preferences: Flexible, appropriate to destination.
